In this thread over at the Rott, I said this concerning the GOP’s 2012 chances after the Friday night massacre:

The GOP is not “almost certain” to win it – not by anything even remotely resembling a longshot.

Thanks to Dubya and his supplicative homage to “new tone” (i.e, capitulating to damn near everything the Demoscum wanted in order to “get along” with them, much as his father tried (and failed) to do in his term), the GOP lost credibility in ’06 and ’08 – which is why they lost those elections and why the Ayatollah Obambi now occupies the White House. The American people saw how much Bush 43 liked to play with Demoscum, so they gave him more to play with.

2010 was the audition to get that credibility back – and, thanks to Friday night, they lost the audition. Maybe not with the Beltway pundits, etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseam – but don’t be surprised if it turns out that it’s been completely lost with the American people.

If Washington maintains the status quo – and I think this likely – the GOP will not win in 2012. And Friday night will be a huge reason why.

Doug Powers relates that in the eight days run-up to the massacre, the deficit jumped $54.1 extra-extra-extra-large (that’s billion&#160 for you pricks in the Church of the SubTarded).

Weepy John-Boy Boner graciously&#160 gave us $38 XXXL in cuts.&#160 You do the math.

Once again, my late friend Bob Plett was right about the Grand Old Pissants.&#160

Having had enough of the 14 Wisconsin cowardcrats who took their marbles and ran away to Ill-noise, the Wisconsin Senate did what they should’ve done nearly three weeks ago and passed the non-budgetary part of their budget bill.

About damned time.

Moe Lane had the line of the night regarding this:

[UPDATE 7:30 PM] …Well, that was a waste of my valuable time for something that was pretty much inevitable from the start. The next time, can the Democrats simply accept the concept of elections having consequences and act like adults? …Well, they can: but they won’t. Oh, well, I always did prefer incompetent opponents. Fair fights are for suckers.

Mheh.&#160 You go, Moe.

Especially if the “you” happens to be an AWOL Wisconsin senator with a “D” after your name. Somebody stood up and said enough is enough, and now the state police will be getting involved. The somebody was the Republican senators as we see here.

Republicans in the Wisconsin Senate passed a resolution Thursday calling for police to take 14 Democrats into custody for contempt after they fled to Illinois to avoid voting on a bill that would strip public-sector unions of nearly all their collective bargaining rights.

Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald signed the orders after Republicans voted 19-0 calling for the action unless Democrats returned to the chamber by 4 p.m. Thursday.

Drum roll please…..

None of the Democrats did, prompting Fitzgerald to sign 14 orders of detainment in dramatic fashion in the center of the Senate chamber. State patrol officers watched silently from the gallery.

No surprises here. As I’ve been saying all week here at the Command Center, stop wasting tax payer dollars Gov. Walker, fire their AWOL arses and appoint replacements!!!

Republicans calculate that the absence of the Democrats has cost more than $250,000 in taxpayer money for the salaries and expenses of running the House during the walkout, which Bosma called “a very expensive temper tantrum.”

And there’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about. That’s just $250k, take a look at THIS!!!

Wisconsin Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch told the court that it would take $500,000 to supervise the removal of the tape, $6 milion to restore the damage to the interior of the building and an additional $1 million to restore damage done from items taped to the exterior.

Gov. Walker, do the right thing….bill each and every friggin union that sent their thugs to cop a squat on the Capitol building. DO NOT make the law-abiding tax payers of your state foot this bill. Obviously if they sent their people there and not to work, then the union coffers CLEARLY can foot this bill.

Dismissed&#153

_____________________________________________________

ITEM:&#160 The Wisconsin Legislature is about to pass a bill curtailing labor unions’ ability to collective-bargain for much beyond basic wages.&#160 It’s a move to try and save taxpayer money, and a damned good idea.

Naturally, the Professional Socialist Left&#153 is acting like bedwetting crybabies over it, including 1,100 teachers who called in “sick” and closed many Madison school districts in an illegal strike

Now, the GOP outnumber the Donktards in the Senate, 19-14.&#160 A quorum is 20 members.

Thus…

ITEM:&#160 As eleven Texas cowards did eight years ago, Wisconsin House Demoscum fled the state, thus denying their constituents proper representation and bringing the people’s business to a halt.

“The plan is to try and slow this down because it’s an extreme piece of legislation that’s tearing this state apart,” Sen. Jon Erpenbach said in a telephone interview. He refused to say where he was.

Yeah.&#160 Just like a typical Demoscum cowardly pussy.

If/when they show their faggot asses back across the Wisconsin line, I’d suggest treating them like rabid dogs.

Literally.

The latest episode of The Acorn Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree, Does It?&#160 begins with Widdle Randie Paula whining…for defense cuts.

Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, called for cuts to the Department of Defense budget and entitlement reform in his Thursday afternoon speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

[…]

“The president of the United States wants to sound now like he’s a conservative,” Paul said. “He says he wants to freeze spending. But, it’s going to be this much [a small amount] of the budget, with inflated levels of spending,”

So let’s see if I have this straight:&#160 We just had revolution in Egypt, which is likely gonna wind up in the hands of Muslim terrorists; Iran continues to work on possibly developing a nuclear bomb, as does North Korea – a country which recently displayed highly belligerent behavior towards its southern neighbor; China continues to menace Taiwan, and we continue to fight a war in Afghanistan.

And this dumbass wants to cut defense spending?

Like father, like son.&#160 Ron Paul’s a dumbass, and so’s his boy Randi.

Whet the Hell&#153 did the Tea Party ever see in this bozo?&#160 Or the state of Kentucky, for that matter?

_____________________________________________________

The acorn never falls far from the tree, does it?

In other words, if a Paul in Congress is involved…it’s usually full of shit.

It started with Truther Ron, who believed that GW Bush and/or the US gubmint was somehow involved in 9/11.&#160 Now comes the chip off the rotten block, Rand (RINO-Tea Party), who wants to abandon Israel.

Tea party-backed Republican Sen. Rand Paul favors cutting U.S. aid to Israel as part of a deficit-driven effort to slash government spending by $500 billion this year, drawing criticism from Democrats and Republicans who argue the U.S. must be unwavering in its support for the longtime Mideast ally.

The freshman Kentucky lawmaker unveiled his budget proposal this week that would make significant cuts in education, housing and energy while reducing money for wars in Afghanistan and Iraq by $16 billion. Paul’s plan also would cut some $20 billion in overseas aid, and he said he wants to eliminate the $3 billion the United States provides to Israel annually in foreign military assistance.

So widdle Randi Paul wants to turn our back on not only one of the (if not the) only Democratic nations in the Middle East, but on God’s chosen people.

Rand hasn’t brushed up on Genesis 12:3 much, has he?

Or maybe that’s the influence of Aqua Buddha talking.

“The overwhelming majority of Americans agree with Senator Paul — our current fiscal crisis makes it impossible to continue the spending policies of the past,” Paul spokesman Gary Howard said in a statement responding to the criticism.

Uh, Randi?&#160 Gary?&#160 No, we don’t.&#160 Contrary to your dumbassed opinion, the majority of this country still considers itself Christian (even if they’re as poor of practitioners as yours truly, here), and we understand how important Israel is in the overall scheme of things.

In other words, we have the Big Picture&#153, whereas you need to remove the blinders, perhaps.

“We simply cannot afford to give money away, even to our allies, with so much debt mounting on a daily basis.”

Turn our backs on God’s chosen, morons, and the debt will be the least of our worries.&#160 Not that it means much in the long run – America isn’t referenced in End Times scripture.&#160 I think I’ve mentioned that before…?

Eric Cantor (RINO-VA), the House Majority Leader, suggests (though not in so many words) that Michelle Bachmann doesn’t speak for the Republican Party.

Maybe that’s the problem.

Gee, you’d think some one is having a bad day….. could this be evidence or maybe this video below is the cause of it all??

Yeah, I’m thinking the video has got her peeved pretty much.

Then again, this probably has got her fairly torqued off. (Note: be sure to check out Rep. Wasserman’s facial expression in the lead photo…gotta love it!)

Saw this on David Barton’s “Wallbuilders” FB page.

Seems that the repeal of DADT in the military is having its intended affect.  Reducing the the American military eventually to a collection of pansy-assed enviroweenies.

But not in THIS mans’ military.  While it sucks that a LTCol is choosing to retire rather than force his troops into the mandated homosexual indoctrination sessions, his reasoning is 100% sound IMHO.  I knew something like this was coming when the talk of Al-Obambi & Co. hit that they were going to repeal the regulation.

The wussification of this country is now complete, thanks to the “progress”-ives.

Folks, if you haven’t gotten them already it’s really past time to do it.  Take your 4th 2nd [Fixed.&#160&#160 -Venomous]&#160 Amendment RIGHTS straight to the gun shop and SPEND.  Be sure to get plenty of ammo too, you’re gonna need it!

Is it 2012 YET???

Well, seeing as Bambi isn’t doing so well with the press – time to call in the bullpen:

President Obama ushered former President Bill Clinton to the White House briefing room late Friday for an impromptu press session, then abruptly left the wonky and winsome Arkansan at the podium by himself to defend the Obama administration’s tax deal.

“I’ve been keeping the first lady waiting for about half an hour, so I’m going to take off,” Obama said.

Clinton chuckled, joking, “I don’t want to make her mad. Please go,” and then quickly turned back to the microphone and began taking questions from the White House press corps, which had been given no advance notice of the two presidents’ trip to the briefing room.

What is this, 1996?

At the same time on Capitol Hill, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Vermont independent, was in his sixth hour of speaking on the Senate floor in a real life filibuster of the president’s tax deal. He began talking shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Friday and was still speaking at 6 p.m.

“I think that the American people don’t like this agreement,” Sanders said, predicting that if the deal to extend the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts for two years were to pass, all cuts – even those for the top brackets, which he opposes – would be “extended long term.”

No, Bernadette, we don’t&#160 like it – but not for the reasons you&#160 think.

We want the tax cuts.&#160 You, of course, Bernadette, want everyone on the government teat.&#160 Along with any number of welfare programs, government subsidies, school breakfast-lunch-dinner programs, ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

Extremely ad nauseam.

Denizens, remember the bake sales your school would have when you were growing up?&#160 Yer mom would bake a cake, or a pie, or cupcakes, or blueberry muffins, or banana-nut cake, and take it down for you, your schoolmates and their folks to enjoy.

OZY MCCOOL:&#160 Great.&#160 Now I’m all hungry.

VENOMOUS:&#160 Yeah, I know.&#160 I’ll see if Mrs. Venomous can whip up some muffins for ye.

T-BONE MCMANX:&#160 She’d do that for us?

VENOMOUS:&#160 Sure.&#160 Not like she can do it for me, what with the diabetes & the low-carb diet ‘n all.

MERLIN:&#160 Schweet.

Anyway, it was a fun thing to do, and usually it benefitted some worthy cause or other – band, choir, a Cub Scout troop, whatever.

Naturally, the Demoscum can’t stand to see Americans enjoying themselves, so here comes the First Wookiee…

CHEWBACCA:&#160 ROWARRRRRRR!!!!!

…uh, the First Klingon…

[Korrioth uses one massive hand to goozle His Rudeness by the throat.]

KORRIOTH:&#160 Suggest you try again, m’liege.

…(ulp)…uh…the First Nossican?

KORRIOTH, K’HADIBAK’H:&#160 Better, sir.

CHEWBACCA:&#160 …urf, urf, urf…

Ain’t no pleasing some people.

Anyway, Her Wide-Assedness told the Imperial Socalist Congress&#153 to jump, they got on collective knee, kissed her fat ass and asked “How high?”, and this bullshit is the result.

A child nutrition bill on its way to President Barack Obama — and championed by the first lady — gives the government power to limit school bake sales and other fundraisers that health advocates say sometimes replace wholesome meals in the lunchroom.

“This could be a real train wreck for school districts,” Lucy Gettman of the National School Boards Association said Friday, a day after the House cleared the bill. “The federal government should not be in the business of regulating this kind of activity at the local level.”

If Bambi signs this piece-of-shit, it could be a real train wreck for the Demoscum in 2012.&#160 Not bad enough that they’ve moved to throw our economy in the shitter; not bad enough that they want to tell us we have&#160 to buy health insurance – now they wanna tell us we can’t even have bake sales???

The legislation, part of first lady Michelle Obama’s campaign to stem childhood obesity, provides more meals at school for needy kids, including dinner

…by which time the little rug-rats ought to be home anyway – but don’t let those inconvenient little facts get in the First Nossican’s way.

and directs the Agriculture Department to write guidelines to make those meals more healthful. The bill would apply to all foods sold in schools during regular class hours, including in the cafeteria line, in vending machines and at fundraisers.

It wouldn’t apply to after-hours events or concession stands at sports events.

Oh, but you just know&#160 they’d either try to find a way around that, or else repeal that little provision within three years.

I would honest-to-Cthulu like to see some dickless little bureaucratic pissweasel with a bad combover just try&#160 to enforce any&#160 of this BS.

The fuckhead had best bring a slew of bodyguards with him.&#160 IYKWIMAITYD.

The RCOB&#153 is in full effect.

San Fran Nan Piglousi wants to investigate those of us who oppose Cordoba House – i.e. the Ground Zero mosque:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Wednesday morning called for “transparency” in the funding behind a planned Islamic community center and mosque being built blocks from ground zero. But she also said there should be similar openness about the money behind conservative attacks aimed at thwarting the project.

[…]

Earlier Wednesday, Pelosi told San Francisco’s KCBS radio that “there is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some.”

“I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded,” she said. “How is this being ginned up?”

The power of the government brought to bear on ordinary, private citizens who believe this travesty to be a slap-in-the-face against Americans and don’t want to see it built at a spot two blocks from Ground Zero.

Libtards, just an advisory:&#160 When our rights under the First Amendment are taken away from us…we’ll just have to go to the next one.

Doug Ross’ wonderful artistic interpretation of Widdle Toni Weenie’s hissy-fit aside…it’s probably a good thing I’m not in the Imperial Socialist Congress&#153.

Had Toni Weenie (D-Romper Room) been screaming at me&#160 like that, it wouldn’t have been just saliva&#160 he was spitting forth.

If you know what I mean.

(Hat tip RedState.)

This should surprise absolutely no one.

When Congress required most Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty, Democrats denied that they were creating a new tax. But in court, the Obama administration and its allies now defend the requirement as an exercise of the government’s “power to lay and collect taxes.”

And that power, they say, is even more sweeping than the federal power to regulate interstate commerce.

Administration officials say the tax argument is a linchpin of their legal case in defense of the health care overhaul and its individual mandate, now being challenged in court by more than 20 states and several private organizations.

Under the legislation signed by President Obama in March, most Americans will have to maintain “minimum essential coverage” starting in 2014. Many people will be eligible for federal subsidies to help them pay premiums.

And I will still refuse to pay it.
