Local time where you're at. ("Where you're at"?)

Okay, now that I have everybody’s attention, here’s what that last blurb was about:

Last night, ABC’s Nightline&#160 aired a piece on us – namely, the Blogosphere.&#160 And they noted how we had brought down Dan Blather (more on him later), the NY Times, Eason Jordan, etc, and how the Chickenshit Leftist Blogger Brigades&#153 had succeeded in forcing Jeff Gannon to resign from Talon News.

(ED. NOTE:&#160 I’m still not convinced that this guy, by whatever name he may go, is involved in any of that shit that the sodomite community says he is.&#160 I’ve seen one&#160 picture, and that not a close-up, of a naked guy on a bed who might&#160 look like this guy – and most anything can be Photoshopped these days.&#160 Until I hear it from him,&#160 the swishers could tell me the sky was blue, and I’d go out to double-check.)

And all this came with the standard liberal mantras:&#160 “Oooooh, they don’t do things the way we professionals&#160 do them.&#160 Can we trust them?&#160 Do they have credibility?&#160 Is this good for America?”

At least, that seemed to be ABC’s take when it came to us here on the Right-Thinking Side Of The Blogosphere&#153.

But what chapped my ass last night was all the adulation and fawning tossed the way of one Maura Keaney, who runs a propaganda piece known as Democracy For Virginia, which I can only guess means that they don’t consider what they have now&#160 to be democracy.&#160 Presumably because they’ve had their ugly asses thrown out of office and are no longer in charge.

It seems that in the Virginia Legislature, this doofus Republican named John Cosgrove introduced a bill to amend a law already on the Virginia books concerning fetal deaths, abortions and the like.&#160 This amendment, from a cursory glance, seems to address pregnant women who have miscarriages.&#160 It would require them to notify, and I quote, “the law-enforcement agency in the jurisdiction of which the delivery occurs within 12 hours after the delivery. A violation of this section shall be punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor.”

Frankly, it’s a bad bill – at least, this part of it is.&#160 No woman is going to be in any sort of condition – physically, psychologically or otherwise – to make any such kind of report.&#160 The bill seems to do nothing but generate a Hell&#153 of a lot of unnecessary paperwork, and probably&#160 would’ve died in committee anyway.

Enter Maura Keaney.&#160 She published this info on Democracy for Virginia,&#160 and a miniature groundswell was created whereby John Cosgrove’s e-mailbox got swamped, and he was pretty much forced to bow to common sense and withdraw the amendment.

Whereupon Democracy for Virginia&#160 went into Extreme Hyper-Woot-Woot Mode&#153.&#160 “Ooooooh, we did it!!!!” “We made the Red-Staters back down!!!!” “We’re gonna take back the country…!!!”&#160 And here was Nightline,&#160 lapping it all up like so much pablum.

Kinda reminds me of the Pakleds after Geordi repaired their ship:&#160 “We are strong…”

Memo to Maura Keaney and the dumbasses over at DfV:&#160 I’m not impressed.&#160 Yes, I agree with you that it was a bad piece of legislation, and absolutely&#160 should have been shitcanned.

On the other hand, had you liberal bastards not spent the last 30+ years making abortion some sort of sacrament, butchering some 15 million babies in the process, bills like this would never see the light of day.&#160 The fact remains that it’s you&#160 people who are responsible for the propagation of stuff like this, because you’ve failed to practice responsibility for lo these past 30+ years.

So save your whooping and hollering for someone who gives a flying fuck – like I said, maybe Howeird Dean would be interested.&#160 He seems to get off on emotional Demoscummic (*YEEEAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!*) outbursts…

This is pretty much what I told DfV on their site last night – which is why, Denizens, you saw the little blurb below.&#160 I figured some of the liberal bozos would come by to see who was upsetting their precious little applecart…and I wanted to be a charming (*cough*) host…
