Welcome to the Realm™ - Version 5.0...

The following are often attributed to Abraham Lincoln, but in reality were published by the Rev. William J. H. Boetcker. That does not, however change the fact that they are as true not as when first penned.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.

You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

You cannot build character and courage by destroying men’s initiative and independence.

And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

  1. David Hartung says:

OK you WordPress geniuses, how do I change the font in the editor?

  2. Drop the (ul) and the (li) tags in the source code. HTML is interpreting those and reacting accordingly.

  3. David Hartung says:

    Much better! Thanks Darth.

  4. I’ll go you one better and blockquote it.&#160 That should make it even more readable.

  5. David Hartung says:

    Thanks oh Nasty one!

Now if we could just get people to pay attention to these words.

It helps, though, if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer  set about 1024x768 1280x1024 with your Favorites window activated on the left deactivated.  (At least until I can get a better handle on how WordPress works.)

(KORRIOTH:  Oh, great.  More wormholes.)

Mozilla Firefox doesn't do too badly, either; in fact, it's His Rudeness' browser of choice.
You can  use Nutscrape,  if you so desire - but why in blazes would you want to use a browser from a company that had to hide behind Janet El Reño's skirt to be successful?

And don't even  get me started on Opera or Chrome.  I'm not about  to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
