Okay, now  I’m pissed.

Went to have lunch yesterday at a place called Ryan’s Family Steakhouse.  Nice place, friendly folks, decent enough food (get the fried chicken).

Placed my order with the cashier.  The ditzy sort, but competent enough.

Until she asked me – and I swear to Cthulu I’m not making this up – if I wanted the senior discount.

Just For Men© is about to get a new customer investor…

Grrrrrrrrr.

And you’re just a few years younger than I am…

    Oh no, Spats!

I color and highlight my hair, and it is well worth it!

You are also younger, and have more hair than I do, so just don’t feel sorry for you! ;)

Another way to know you’re getting old is when you have to card the person at the checkout when you are buying booze…

If getting older requires no effort at all except to continue breathing, why is it so hard getting older?

Hang on, Spats–you graduated two years before I did, & she asked you that?!
Guess I’ll keep my hair long. It’s either that or the scowl that keeps waitresses from asking me that.

It helps, though, if you have Microsoft Internet Explorer  set about 1024x768 1280x1024 with your Favorites window activated on the left deactivated.  (At least until I can get a better handle on how WordPress works.)

(KORRIOTH:  Oh, great.  More wormholes.)

Mozilla Firefox doesn't do too badly, either; in fact, it's His Rudeness' browser of choice.
You can  use Nutscrape,  if you so desire - but why in blazes would you want to use a browser from a company that had to hide behind Janet El Reño's skirt to be successful?

And don't even  get me started on Opera or Chrome.  I'm not about  to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
