Hoft over at Gateway Pundit is reporting that Missouri Demoscum are proposing legislation to force all Missourians to turn in their guns within 90 days.
4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:
(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;
(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or
(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.
5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

And don't even get me started on Opera or Chrome. I'm not about to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
In his letter to the Romans, Paul instructs us to obey the civil rulers. However, in a nation such as ours in which the rulers are themselves subject to the law, when those rulers ignore the law, in this case the Second Amendment, the people have no civil or Scriptural reason to obey those rulers.
I have to wonder how many Missouri citizens would just simply ignore a law which requires them to turn in any of their weapons to the government.
