There have been some stupid ideas come out of city governments lately.&#160 Every new smoking ordinance you see pop up in these parts is proof positive of that.

But the proposal that Highland Park, TX just finished tabling is about the stupidest I’ve ever seen.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dallas, Mockingbird Lane through Highland Park is a 1&#189-lane thoroughfare.&#160 It’s a major challenge to navigate it without sideswiping the car coming the other way.

And they were thinking about making it a toll street.

Fortunately, I never have to do business in Highland Piss, so they’d never get any money out of me.&#160 But a few thousand cars a day pass through there, and it’s them that would get the shaft from a sorry-assed excuse-for-a-city that really doesn’t need the money, y’know?

Stupid bints.

Denizens, I spent the weekend doing more Chick Chasing&#153, so haven’t had much time to write squat.

May have more time this week, may not. Already behind on chores due to all the Chick Chasing&#153, so who knows?

Oh, wonderful.&#160 Pfleger has shed the requisite crocodile tears for his showing us his ass.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to fisk this bullshit in one fell swoop, but we’ll start tonight.

Last Sunday, I was invited by Trinity United Church of Christ to come and preach on the topic of race.

I agreed to do so because of my love for Trinity, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Rev. Otis Moss, III and because all my life I have sought to deal with the reality of racism. As I said, Last Sunday, I have committed myself to tear down the walls that divide us wherever they stand.

Because, obviously, they weren’t doing a good enough job, and new barriers must be erected.&#160 And you and the Rev’rnnnnnnnn’d Jackassimiah Wrong are doing an excellent&#160 job of creating those new barriers.

In 1966, as a junior in high school, amidst all the hate and meanness that surrounded me in Marquette Park, I heard more than the voice of Dr. king calling for community over chaos. I heard that small voice from within, that said, I am showing you this now, because you must spend your life trying to eradicate this.

This from a white&#160 boy?&#160 And he would tell us that we’re&#160 the source of all the hatred?

The last few days have been the most painful days of my life, even more so than the murder of Jarvis, my foster son.

How comforting that he places a lesser value on a young man in his care than he does propping up an institution nurtured & cared for by his fellow leftist scum.
