Welcome to the Realm™ - Version 5.0...
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

In the Church year, Maundy Thursday is the day we commemorate our Lord’s gift to us of his Supper. On Good Friday we remember his torture an death for our sins, on the cross. Below are the readings from our Good Friday Service.

Please forgive me for not posting them earlier.

Psalm 22:

 1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
2 My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.

 3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the one Israel praises.
4 In you our ancestors put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.
5 To you they cried out and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.

 6 But I am a worm and not a man,
scorned by everyone, despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me;
they hurl insults, shaking their heads.
8 “He trusts in the LORD,” they say,
“let the LORD rescue him.
Let him deliver him,
since he delights in him.”

 9 Yet you brought me out of the womb;
you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast.
10 From birth I was cast on you;
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

 11 Do not be far from me,
for trouble is near
and there is no one to help.

 12 Many bulls surround me;
strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.
13 Roaring lions that tear their prey
open their mouths wide against me.
14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.
My heart has turned to wax;
it has melted within me.
15 My mouth is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;
you lay me in the dust of death.

 16 Dogs surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.

 19 But you, LORD, do not be far from me.
You are my strength; come quickly to help me.
20 Deliver me from the sword,
my precious life from the power of the dogs.
21 Rescue me from the mouth of the lions;
save me from the horns of the wild oxen.

 22 I will declare your name to my people;
in the assembly I will praise you.
23 You who fear the LORD, praise him!
All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!
Revere him, all you descendants of Israel!
24 For he has not despised or scorned
the suffering of the afflicted one;
he has not hidden his face from him
but has listened to his cry for help.

 25 From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;
before those who fear you I will fulfill my vows.
26 The poor will eat and be satisfied;
those who seek the LORD will praise him—
may your hearts live forever!

 27 All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the LORD,
and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him,
28 for dominion belongs to the LORD
and he rules over the nations.

 29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship;
all who go down to the dust will kneel before him—
those who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 Posterity will serve him;
future generations will be told about the Lord.
31 They will proclaim his righteousness,
declaring to a people yet unborn:
He has done it!

Psalm 2

  1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the LORD and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”

 4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”

 7 I will proclaim the LORD’s decree:

   He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

 10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 27

 1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

 2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.

 4 One thing I ask from the LORD,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.

 6 Then my head will be exalted
above the enemies who surround me;
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.

 7 Hear my voice when I call, LORD;
be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, LORD, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
God my Savior.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the LORD will receive me.
11 Teach me your way, LORD;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.

 13 I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.

Psalm 51

 1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

 3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

 7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.

 18 May it please you to prosper Zion,
to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
in burnt offerings offered whole;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Jesus Sentenced to Be Crucified

 1 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

 4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.” 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”

 6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”

But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”

 7 The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”

 8 When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer. 10 “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”

 11 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”

 12 From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.”

 13 When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement (which in Aramaic is Gabbatha). 14 It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon.

“Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews.

 15 But they shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!”

“Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked.

“We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.

 16 Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

    So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

 19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”

 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

 23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

 24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.”

This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,

“They divided my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.”

So this is what the soldiers did.

 25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

The Death of Jesus

 28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

 31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,” 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”

The Burial of Jesus

38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.

And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.

He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.

-Matthew 28:1-6a

And may God add his blessings to the reading of His holy Word.

1,980 years ago, it wasn’t about candy-coated eggs, fake plastic colored straw or bunny rabbits.

Today, 1,980 years later…it still isn’t.

The secularists can scoff & sneer all they like.

We’ve read the end of the Book.&#160 We win.

Remember why.

Happy Easter 2013, Denizens.&#160 He is risen!!!

(Yeah, this is pretty much going to become an annual thing, just like the rest of the annual things.)

To be continued…

1.Have *any* of Obama’s appointees been competent in their jobs?

2. Have any of Obama’s appointees demonstrated that they actually want what is best for the USA?

And as if you didn’t have enough evidence that the GOP has lost its spine (not to mention its will & its way), here comes the RNC’s own Chief Sniveling Weasel, Prancy Reince-e Priebus, saying that Rob “I Wuv Gayz Now” Portman won’t face any ramifications from suddenly deciding to throw his principles out the window:

Via NRO, he’s careful not to endorse gay marriage himself but he sure does seem chipper at the beginning about the “inroads” Portman’s allegedly made with gay voters.

And this spineless pussy Priebus wrings his hands in severe angst as the base abandons him, and wonders why Republicans don’t win anymore.

Four million GOP voters stayed home last November. And they stayed home because they’re tired of the direction in which the GOP is going.

They’re tired of having RINOs masquerading as presidential candidates forced upon them.

They’re tired of the Republican leadership caving in to the Demoscum.

They’re tired of cowering in fear of a media who might definitely will portray them in the worst light possible.

And they’re tired of politicians like Widdle Wobbly Portman not standing up for what’s right, even when their family members fail to live up to the standard.

I tell you now, when the GOP decides to man up and grow a backbone, they’ll start kicking Demoscum ass again.&#160 Every election.&#160 Every time.

But until then, the Republicans can continue to wring their hands in angst & wonder.

Denizens, remember Rob “Hey, I Was A Candidate Too!” Portman?&#160 No-name Congresscritter Senator from Oiho (a little Bambi lingo, there) who ran (snicker) for the GOP nomination for President last year?

Y’know, big-time conservative, gonna save the party, all that mush?&#160 Especially being touted as the “pro-life, pro-family” candidate?

Yeah, that one.

Well, his son just came outta the closet and announced he’s a faggot – yeah, that’s right, I said it, do something about it if you don’t like it – and, lo & behold, whaddya know, li’l Robbie ain’t so pro-family anymore, don’tcha know?

Portman voted for the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, but he now thinks the Supreme Court, which is hearing a challenge to the law this year, should strike it down.

And how does he explain his “growing” (to use a term of the leftists)?

I wrestled with how to reconcile my Christian faith with my desire for Will to have the same opportunities to pursue happiness and fulfillment as his brother and sister. Ultimately, it came down to the Bible’s overarching themes of love and compassion and my belief that we are all children of God. […]

Translation:&#160 The chickenshit is more concerned with how men view him than he is with how God views him.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has said he supports allowing gay couples to marry because he is a conservative, not in spite of it. I feel the same way. We conservatives believe in personal liberty and minimal government interference in people’s lives. We also consider the family unit to be the fundamental building block of society. We should encourage people to make long-term commitments to each other and build families, so as to foster strong, stable communities and promote personal responsibility.

In other words, Denizens, we should continue to encourage all heterophobes to go on fucking each other in the ass, and calling it “family”.&#160 Because, shut up, homophobe!

This son-of-a-bitch always did have a stench about him during the campaign, and now we know why.&#160 He’s a limp-wristed, namby-pamby nancy-boy who doesn’t have a clue what conservatism means, much, much&#160 less Christianity, whose principles are determined by sticking a finger up in the wind.&#160 The jackwagon doesn’t have a fucking clue about standing up for principle, or for what’s right.

And he doesn’t have the balls to stand up to his faggot son and tell him he’s wrong.&#160 And that’s the most shameful thing of all.

The young-skull-full-o’-shit has shamed both&#160 his excuses-for-parents, and they don’t have the sense God gave a flea enough to realize it.

And the GOP wonders why they’re losing elections.

RCOB warning!

This is one more case in which the officer involved has no business in uniform. His employment should be terminated immediately, and his law enforcement certification revoked. No policeman who abuses citizens in this manner should be tolerated.

When I originally posted the above link, the video was public. I wonder what happened.

Yes, Denizens, I know – this is a shocka&#160 that could rise to the level of coronary induction. But according to the publicist, it’s all abso-effin’-lutely true.&#160 Pinky-finger-swear.

Are you sitting down? Because we are about to unleash some information on you that is all but impossible to believe: Kim Kardashian staged her now-failed marriage to Kris Humphries, according to her former publicist. “She knew weeks before getting married she didn’t want to do it,” said Jonathan Jaxson, who worked with the reality star from 2007 to 2009, on the Elvis Duran Morning Show. “She’s never gotten over [ex Reggie Bush].” Jaxson claimed to have worked with Kardashian on similar stunts throughout their partnership in a bid to get her press, the New York Post reports.

“I staged several of the moments that the world has seen of her, such as a ring that we alleged was from Reggie Bush,” he said. “It was calculated to a T and then it was leaked to a magazine.”

Well, dip me in Angorgonzolic cheese and call me the Riker Maneuver. Shocked, shocked&#160 I am to hear of this!!!

Yawn.&#160

“If Mr. Paul wants to be taken seriously, he needs to do more than pull political stunts that fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms. He needs to know what he’s talking about,” McCain said. “I don’t think what happened yesterday was helpful to the American people.”

—John “Did you know I was a Vietnam POW and a war hero?” McCain

Benedict Arnold was a war hero, too, McRINO.&#160 How’d that work out for him?

You, Juanita McLame, are nothing but a needle-dicked coward.&#160 A douchebag in Republican clothing.&#160 A limp-wristed chickenshit dicklick.&#160 A traitor to the United States of America.

The Ayatollah Obambi is selling this country down the river, you son-of-a-crack-whore-bitch, and you & Lindsay Grahamnesty are helping him paddle the damned thing.

Go ahead and join the Demoscum, McPusstard.&#160 You and&#160 Grahamnesty.&#160 Both of you are worthless as Republicans.

F.E.T.E, as the Imperial Torturer is wont to say.

Satan has begun his eternal raping of Hugito the Needle-Dick&#153.

Let the party…commence!!!

Now who here didn’t see this coming?

I mean, good grief Charlie Brown. It’s as honkin’ big as Cyrano De Bergerac’s nose!!! If you miss that, you’re blind (or looking the other way)!!!

Then again, the modus operandi of the previous four years isn’t about to go away because Al-Obambi got re-elected….so of course Bambi’s going to reboot it now. This sort of presidential pisspottery and pot-calling-the-kettle-black crap, with the obligatory aid of the lap-dog lame stream media as willing accomplices, has clearly made the United States government the laughing stock of the globe. Does the Democratic party really think that We The People&#153 are that brainwashed? Yes, obviously those occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue do. Then again they also believe that if you don’t happen to live at that particular address, then you’re just a peon and incapable of rational human thought.

WRONG there Bambi!!!

You’re the fracking arsehole that pushed for the sequestration months ago. Wait, there’s the answer! Al-Obambi is suffering from early onset Alzheimer’s. We’re in luck, that disease is not covered by his all-encompassing “universal” budget-busting “FREE” healthcare bill. Sorry sir, we’ve deemed you untreatable and you’re being voted off the island. Please leave. No, we don’t have any parting prizes for you. Just go.

What’s this? We can’t criticize the anointed one?

Bullshit we can’t! There still is this thing called the FIRST AMENDMENT you fracking arrogant weasels. Yes, that old, crusty document that you and your fracking arrogant weasel buddies are trying to rip to shreds because it’s full of “negative liberties”.

Get over it! It happens to be the LAW OF THE LAND. And also the thing you pledged to uphold in your OATH OF OFFICE!!!

Yes, in case you missed it I am seriously pissed right now. Al-Obmabi, Jay Carney, Nancy Piglousy, Harry “Dick” Reid, and the rest of the progressives in DC are doing nothing more than the equivalent of throwing a two-year old TANTRUM because they can’t get their way. Obambi claims that the GOP is siding with the rich and wealthy by forcing the sequestration to proceed, but plainly forgets that he’s clearly on the Autobahn with the destination of DESTROYING the America we all know and love! He clearly believes it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” he will arrive at the intended destination. And he’s doing so with a rather Adm. Farragut attitude of “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead”.

It’s not getting any prettier around here anytime soon denizens. We here at the Southern Command are prepping, are you?

ThatIsAll&#153
