Picture this:  You’re a techie-type in a two-building combination call-center/business office, along with three other techie-types.  The complex houses roughly 800 people at the moment (more will follow, but that’s another post).
Now imagine that one tech is tied up on a project in another city, another tech is on vacation, and the call-center tech is sick…and his supervisors haven’t notified your supervisors.  In short, you’re the only tech in the entire complex…and neither you nor your superiors realize it.
Welcome to the One-Legged Man™ Week from Hell™.  The fact is, Denizens, you were lucky to have received any of My Eternal Wisdom™ at all this week.  Yesterday was the worst day of the five, which is why nothing got cranked out from this keyboard.

if you so desire - but why in blazes would you want to use a browser from a company that had to hide behind Janet El Reño's skirt to be successful?
And don't even get me started on Opera or Chrome. I'm not about to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
I`ve been going through the exact same (sorta) thing for the last 2 years.
I`m the emergency maintenance mechenic at an N.A.S. and a little over 2 years ago I became the only one.
My position used to be filled by 2 people at the airfield (where I am now) and 1 each at 3 different satallite bases.
Now it`s just me. Doing the job of 5 people.
As if that weren`t enough they started using a new Work Order/Service Order tracking system (Maximo) right after they let our receptionist go so it all ell to our secretary, who already has enough to do.
Since I know the Maximo system and no one else does, I have to change old, and input new work orders on overtime.
So I do my regular maintenance job for 9 hours, then Maximo for 3. 10 hours a day on weekends.
Additionally. because it may also be added to my Position Description, I have to study the P-307 weight inspector manual. HERE
So I completely understand limited posting.
