Welcome to the Realm™ - Version 5.0...

Well, well, well.  Not yet two weeks before the Ayatollah’s coronation and already we have a scandal.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson abandoned his nomination to become commerce secretary under pressure of a grand jury investigation into a state contract awarded to his political donors – an investigation that threatened to embarrass President-elect Barack Obama.

Richardson insisted he would be cleared in the investigation and Obama stood by the governor as an “outstanding public servant.” But both men said it has become clear that a grand jury probe would not be finished in time for Richardson’s confirmation hearings and could keep him from filling the post in a timely matter.

Maybe we shoulda let the Magic Negro™ take office early.  That way, this scandal could have officially  happened on his watch.

No worries, though.  Something tells me this is but the first of many.

Had enough, Demoscum?

As I believe I said last month, the next four years promise to be quite entertaining.

If you count the Illinois Senate debacle, Richardson is the second scandal. I have this feeling that subsequent investigation will reveal that Obama was more involved in the Blogo issue than the Media has let on.

I don’t. Not yet, anyway – not until there’s a definite smoking gun that points the finger squarely at Obambi.

It very well might, granted.  But until it does, Blago is the centerpiece of this clusterfuck – and until he starts pointing fingers & naming names, thus will he be.

‘Course, if he does  start pointing & naming…and then  subsequently is the victim of, say, an “unfortunate accident”…then I’d say that’s a smoking gun, right there, wouldn’t you?

Richardson may actually be the first scandal – the events in question date to the early 2000s.

Mozilla Firefox doesn't do too badly, either; in fact, it's His Rudeness' browser of choice.
You can  use Nutscrape,  if you so desire - but why in blazes would you want to use a browser from a company that had to hide behind Janet El Reño's skirt to be successful?

And don't even  get me started on Opera or Chrome.  I'm not about  to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
