Welcome to the Realm™ - Version 5.0...
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls….here is your reading assignment.

You WILL go here and read this letter. You WILL do it now.

If you are like everyone else that frequents here, you are like both Darth and myself in that you are completely FED UP with what Obamanation is doing to us and the mockery they are making of our Constitution, you will read that letter.

Take five minutes, heck take fifteen minutes if you need to. Just read it.

Then do what I and the Generalette-to-be have done. Sign the petition that is linked on the same page.

If you care about your country and are tired of the total disregard Al-Obambi and the ENTIRE Washington Inside-the-Beltway clan has for “We The People”, then it’s now time to have your voice heard.

ThatIsAll&#153

How come Republicans are suddenly upset about the ignoring of the Constitution, when it’s President Obama doing it, and not President Bush (either 41 or 43)?

The Democrats want to ignore the Constitution to destroy capitalism. Republicans want to ignore the Constitution to destroy capitalism. What’s the difference, and why the outrage now, when it’s been going on for 20 years or more?

  2. Actually, the argument could be made that the destruction can be traced all the way back to Woodrow Wilson and FDR’s New Deal. THAT’S when the real nemisis of progressivism began to erode the Constitution and our liberties.

It’s just gotten to the point now where both sides are just as guilty as the other in the harm they are doing to this country and we the people. Also, enough people are slowly waking up to what is going on and realizing that this isn’t the “change” they really expected.

As Janet points out in her letter, the whole crop of inside-the-beltwayers need to be handed their pink slips and replaced with individuals with the courage and comittment to do the job right. And by right I mean as how the Constitution set it forth. Until then you’re better off reading Revelations than the front page. At least with Revelations you’ll get the truth.

Actually, if you want to get right down to it, the deconstruction of the Constitution started with President Washington, was accelerated by President Lincoln (no fan of the Constitution should have any feeling other than scorn for Lincoln…he broke more laws than he followed), and was kicked into high gear by President T. Roosevelt. Wilson and F. Roosevelt only continued down the same path as T. Roosevelt, much the same way that Obama is only wandering down the same path President G. W. Bush started.

A good start would be to fire every last politician in office, and replace them with whatever random candidate is opposing them. And then, next election, fire them, and keep repeating until the maggot politicians get the fucking message.

Read this several days ago. The lady asks some excellent questions, the problem is that no one in power will have any desire to listen to those questions until, or unless, their jobs are on the line. The perception in Washington is that conservatives have been defanged, and can be safely ignored.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer, but until believers in limited government stop voting for the “lesser evil” and insist on quality conservative candidates, Washington will continue to ignore us.

  5. The perception in Washington is that conservatives have been defanged, and can be safely ignored.

It’s not that they’ve been necessarily defanged, David – there just aren’t enough of them.

There are maybe three or four (what I would consider to be) conservatives in Washington that I can name off the top of my head, and maybe five or six more besides that.&#160 Everyone else is just a go-along-to-get-along, phony-baloney plastic-banana good-time rock ‘n roller.

    Bluebloods all.&#160 Eff ’em.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer, but until believers in limited government stop voting for the “lesser evil” and insist on quality conservative candidates, Washington will continue to ignore us.

I know what it’s gonna take to fix this, but no one wants to hear about it.

The answer is really, really easy. BUT, no one wants to do it, because it would mean taking responsibility for one’s OWN actions, instead of fretting and hand-wringing over what everyone ELSE is going to do.

Vote your damn conscience. Stop voting for the not-the-Democrat candidate. Heck, vote for a candidate who has no chance of winning, but, is more in line with your beliefs. Only when Americans start doing that will the problem be solved.

We have too god-damned many people, liberal and ‘conservative’, who spend WAY too much god-damned time worrying about what other people are doing, and not using that energy to do something themselves.

If you want it done right, do it yourself. It worked for our grandparents, it will work for us.

  7. David Hartung says:

From HDD: “Vote your damn conscience. Stop voting for the not-the-Democrat candidate. Heck, vote for a candidate who has no chance of winning, but, is more in line with your beliefs. Only when Americans start doing that will the problem be solved.”

I did that this past election. None of those who stood for President struck me as being worthy of my vote, so I did not cast a vote in the presidential election. I confined my voting to the congressional and senatorial races. To this day, I believe that I did the right thing, but I have taken s fair bit of grief from some of my “conservative” friends. These decent, but misguided, folks seem to believe that McCain would rescued the nation from our troubles.

This is a policy I intend to continue. If none of the candidates in race are worthy of my vote, I will not cast a vote. If a candidate wants my vote from here on, he must demonstrate to me that he is the proper man for the job, not that he isn’t as bad as the other guy.

Mozilla Firefox doesn't do too badly, either; in fact, it's His Rudeness' browser of choice.
You can  use Nutscrape,  if you so desire - but why in blazes would you want to use a browser from a company that had to hide behind Janet El Reño's skirt to be successful?

And don't even  get me started on Opera or Chrome.  I'm not about  to trust any browser that won't let me change its color scheme.
