Well, they say things happen in threes bunches. And now we have the third another media personality to pass on. (H/T to HDD)
What can you say about Billy, well he certainly was “energetic” on camera. I didn’t get the chance to see the reality show on Discovery Channel he hosted called “Pitchmen”, so I’m not sure what he was like off camera. What I can say is that it is tragic if the way this article is suggesting turns out to be the actual cause of death.
Once again, the condolences of the Southern HQ go out to the Mays family and friends.

Turns out that he had heart disease. The heart is one organ we just can’t do without. When it decides to quit, you can pretty much plan on your next stop being the foot of throne.
Um…check your math on celebrity deaths.
Ed McMahon. One.
Farah Fawcett. Two.
Micheal Jackson. Three.
And we haven’t even gotten to Mr Mays, yet, who is number four.
Add the B list actress who also died yesterday (just because she’s not famous to us doesn’t mean she’s not a celebrity), and we’re up to five.
Not a good week to be a celebrity. For what it’s worth, my money is one of the next couple of people to kick off this week to complete the double trifecta of celebrity deaths:
Patrick Swayze, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Ted Kennedy, “Sheets” Byrd or Gordon Lightfoot.
Correct you are David, on both counts.
I just haven’t had enough time to get back over here and update this. Thanks for the catch.
HDD, I see your point but I consider Wacko Jacko as more of one who was in the entertainment business than the TV business like Ed, Farah, and Billy.
As for the others…no loss for me if they all croak.
David,
Not to quibble or anything, but, actually, the heart is the SECOND most important organ in our body, since the heart is, technically, only a possible causal factor in the the most common cause of death in the world, which is lack of oxygen to the brain. The second most common cause of death is too much oxygen to the brain, in an unusable form. So, sorry, but, we can, and have, found replacements for the heart. We just haven’t found a replacement for the brain. Although, the Democrat Party does a good job of disproving that particular theory….
Oh, my God. I think I just wrote the sentence with the worst grammar in my entire life. I apologize to anyone who is offended by atrocious grammar, since that sentence has to be one of the worst cases of bad grammar in history.
Sorry.
You were referencing the Democrappers, no forgiveness is necessary.
Now if you’re speaking about the replacement sentence, I actually followed it rather clearly.
I am not  going there…

Guys, Darth is still moving, and I don’t have Rayegun’s email, so I am reduced to announcing a blog post here. Tea Party Schedule linked at Politics and Religion (

Have a great week!
Oh, it’s an easy enough sentence and thought to follow.
But, it was absolutely atrocious grammar, since the subject and the verb didn’t even come close to agreeing. I got lucky, and had my bad grammar actually not detract from my thought.
It’s still bad grammar, though.
