To hell with LeGarrette Blount.&#160 At least he&#160 was provoked.

When you go and not just tackle a quarterback after he’s let go of the ball, but drive him into the ground and cause him to injure his shoulder, you’re a fucking dirty-assed player.

And you fucking Mormons can kiss my ass.&#160 That’s my First Amendment-protected opinion, so come say it to my face if you don’t fucking like it, pussies.

Chill out. It was a legal hit. I’ve seen you defend hits far more blatant than that as ‘clean’.

Clawson was within 6 in. of Bradford when Bradford released the ball. There was no way Clawson could either stop himself, or change what he was going to do. If the officials, who were watching, didn’t think it was a dirty hit, and if the Sooner fan we both know didn’t think it was a dirty hit, doncha think it might have been a clean hit?

I have?&#160 Where the lineman, having seen the QB throw the ball, continued on (six inches or no), wrapped the guy up and drove him, full speed, into the ground without the slightest thought of letting up or slowing down?&#160 I’ve defended this?

    Where?

If the officials, who were watching, didn’t think it was a dirty hit,

The officiating was failing in its job all damned night long.&#160 Don’t even&#160 get me started on them.

and if the Sooner fan we both know didn’t think it was a dirty hit, doncha think it might have been a clean hit?

“The Sooner fan we both know” and I don’t see eye-to-eye on everything, which is fine.&#160 My opinions are not based on what she thinks, and I tend to believe she’s okay with that, y’know?

Yes, you have, whenever a Cowboy or a Sooner does it. There was no way Clawson would have been able to stop, or even try to not tackle Bradford, in the distance and time he had. It takes .75 seconds for the human mind to even *register* something it just saw, and about .5 seconds before Clawson arrived, Bradford threw the ball. The referees didn’t call a penalty because Superman wouldn’t have been able to avoid doing what Clawson did. It was a legal, clean hit, and if Bradford hadn’t *JUST* thrown the ball, he would have been driven into the ground on a knock-the-dust-off-your-TV sack. It was a clean hit. Take off your Sooner glasses, and watch it again. Put a Cowboys uniform on Clawson, and a Redskins uniform on Bradford. You’ll be cheering the hit.

Again, I’m going to ask where.&#160 You seem to be exceedingly positive that I’ve done so; therefore, you must&#160 have a link from somewhere that shows me cheering such a hit.

    Take your time.&#160 I’ll wait.&#160

Sometimes, I really wish that you’d read what I wrote.

I didn’t just say “not just tackle a quarterback after he’s let go of the ball”, I also&#160 said “drive him into the ground”.&#160 Clawson had more than enough time to pull up during his tackle and avoid driving Bradford into the ground.

But, as I’m about to point out, he didn’t do that.

It takes .75 seconds for the human mind to even *register* something it just saw, and about .5 seconds before Clawson arrived, Bradford threw the ball.

By the time Clawson had wrapped Bradford up, the ball was gone.&#160 Unless Clawson had his head down and was leading with the crown of his helmet, he had time to see Bradford begin to bring his arm forward and the ball leave the hand, and realize he wasn’t going to get there in time.

The referees didn’t call a penalty because Superman wouldn’t have been able to avoid doing what Clawson did.

The officiating was calling a lot of stuff they shouldn’t have and letting go a lot of stuff they should’ve called.&#160 Again, don’t get me started about the officiating – it was piss poor all night long.

It was a legal, clean hit, and if Bradford hadn’t *JUST* thrown the ball, he would have been driven into the ground on a knock-the-dust-off-your-TV sack.

Yes, that’s correct – because he would have still been in possession of the ball.&#160 But he wasn’t, and it wasn’t – no matter how many times you might say it was.&#160 That it didn’t get called in no way changes that.

It was a clean hit. Take off your Sooner glasses, and watch it again.

    Yes, let’s.

Note one other thing that your beloved referees missed. At :10 of this video, Clawson left his feet just as he got there and launched himself into Bradford.&#160 Last I checked, you weren’t supposed to do that to any quarterback.

But I guess someone forgot to tell Bronco Mendenhall about that rule.

Put a Cowboys uniform on Clawson, and a Redskins uniform on Bradford. You’ll be cheering the hit.

Most kind of you to tell me what I’ll be thinking in a given situation.&#160 Saves me lots&#160 of time.

Actually, it’s more likely that I’d think that the Cowboys got away with one.&#160 I’m slightly more objective than that.
