You may have noticed that I haven’t blogged about that long-haired, maggot-infested, dope-smoking skank Ward Churchill.

There’s a reason for that.&#160 I have enough RCOB moments, and my blood pressure’s high enough as it is.&#160 I’m only 10&#189 years from outliving my father, and I’d kinda like to make it there.

Anyway, it heartens and encourages me to see that Buffalo Chip University is at least considering getting rid of this wanker Churchill.

Settlement talks between the University of Colorado and the professor who compared some Sept. 11 victims to a notorious Nazi broke down Friday after a newspaper reported the teacher had once been accused of plagiarism.

University regent Michael Carrigan declined to comment on the negotiations but said he had “substantial concern” about a report in Friday’s Rocky Mountain News that Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia had accused Churchill of plagiarizing the work of one of its professors eight years ago.

They’re just now getting to that?&#160 WorldNetDaily had the scoop on it a month ago.

But what chaps my ass is this part (and a hat-tip to B.C, Imperial Torturer&#153, for pointing it out to me last week):

University President Elizabeth Hoffman has said Churchill could be fired if the inquiry turned up misconduct, but that he would not be dismissed because of his statements.

So Churchill’s freedom of expression/belief/speech/what have you is just okay with this bimbo Hoffman – but Cthulu forbid that you be a Christian&#160 professor at Buffalo Chip U. – that’ll get you shitcanned.

While University of Colorado officials defend controversial professor Ward Churchill in the name of free speech, an evangelical Christian professor at the school claims he’s about to be dismissed for religious or political reasons.

Professor Phil Mitchell, who has a doctorate in American social history from the university, says he recently was informed his contract would not be renewed after this year because “his teaching was not up to the department standards,” according to Denver Post columnist David Harsanyi.

“Well, Spats”, I hear you saying, “maybe the guy’s work wasn’t&#160 up to standards.”

Oh?

Mitchell, winner in 1998 of the prestigious SOAR Award for teacher of the year, told the columnist he has wondered how long he would last.

“I’ve had enough. I am clearly being closed out for political or religious reasons,” Mitchell says. “I am one of the top-rated professors in the history of the department.”

A colleague, William Wei, described by Harsanyi as “hardly a conservative,” said, “Phil is a great person, a good teacher and highly regarded by his students.”

Seems pretty obvious to me&#160 that this guy’s a slightly better teacher than, say, Steffi the Doublewide Bitch Supreme&#153.

Harsanyi said Mitchell, who has taught at the Hallett Diversity Program for 24 straight semesters, upset the head of the department by presenting a diverse opinion.

After quoting respected black intellectual Thomas Sowell in a discussion about affirmative action, Mitchell was berated as a racist.

“That would have come as a surprise to my black children,” said Mitchell, who has nine children, two of them adopted African-Americans.

Oh, yeah, this guy’s every bit as racist as Robert “Sheets” Byrd, alright.&#160

Then, says Harsanyi, the professor used a book on liberal Protestantism in the late 19th century.

Harsanyi writes: “So repulsed by the word ‘god’ was one student, she complained, and the department chair fired him without a meeting.”

The columnist points out that unlike Churchill’s case, there was no protest by faculty and students.

Mitchell later was reinstated, Harsanyi said, but never was able to teach in the history department again.

And in the meantime, the smarmy little pisspot Churchill gets to keep his&#160 job.&#160 Happily, though, that bitch excuse-for-a-president Lizzie Hoffman has resigned over this issue and the fact her football team doesn’t play by the rules.

   We need a turning away from “higher education” toward OJT. Ask most people how much of their education they’ve used IRL; odds are you’ll find not much. The truth is,for many occupations, that you learn much of it on the job. The reasons those people are in university, flatly, was that they could not survive in the real world, nobody would/could give them a job. Ward and his cronies are in the only task that suits them: indoctrination.

   Sooner or later, everyone will realize this. And then I get to use my pitchfork.
